Care instructions
The stainless steel 2 ply mesh filter will need cleaning out as part of your annual service. As this is a stainless steel element, this can be cleaned out using a carb cleaner or solvent based cleaner that is safe to use on stainless steel and aluminium. There is no need to remove the circlip/element when cleaning the filter out.
Additional Info
For Evo and Twin Cam motors a support bracket is required to ensure that the carburetor seals against the intake manifold correctly. These can be found in the parts section of this website under the GASBOX carb bracket.
Later Big Twin Evos and Sportsters that have a head breather system will also require breather bolts that can be purchased through Razorback Motosupply and are again found in the parts section of this website.
When installing any new air intake to your motorcycle the air/fuel mixture may be affected resulting in a lean or rich mixture. You may need to re-jet your carburetor when installing this product.
